ASU to return to the Elite Eight

On Tuesday evening the men’s basketball team moved from being among the nation’s “Sweet Sixteen” to the Elite Eight, defeating USC-Aiken 85 to 57 to capture the Southeast Regional title. The win earns the Jags a second trip to the national tournament in Springfield, Mass., where they will meet Christian Brothers, winners of the South Region, in the first game of the Elite Eight on Wednesday, March 25, at noon in the Mass Mutual Center.
